With the constant algorithm changes, questions about video suppression and the fact that many users just want chronological order brought back, it hasn't been the easiest time for Instagram. Jamé shares some insights she read on a BBC article about dream jobs. She believes most dream jobs come with unrealistic expectations that are always not fulfilled in the long run.
Jamé reveals some of the difficulties she goes through while trying to manage different sections of her online business -- emails and newsletters, checking on invoices, social media strategy, and so on. If you are the founder/owner of your brand, you are everybody’s job.
Jackson is in the influence of content creation because she seeks to amplify the voices of marginalized communities and highlight black women in the fashion, beauty, and entrepreneurship space.
Jamé urges each of us to respect and show love to content creators and their craft. She emphasizes the struggles influencers go through before uploading or publishing any content online. She also explains that the world only gets 30% of the whole work while the remaining 70% is sometimes not appreciated -- because the public does not see it.
