She shares her initial struggles, including a tale of her early corporate days when a client repeatedly altered their look and then refused to compensate her after her service was completed. The conversation then delves into the taxing nature of the industry, both mentally and physically, highlighting the struggles/demands faced by photographers, videographers, and makeup artists. Who often face criticism for their fees despite lacking health care benefits, sick leave, and other standard entitlements. Sharan also shares her personal sacrifices, such as missing key family milestones and taking a brief four-week maternity leave.
