Since arriving on the scene in 1991 this London based producer has always been the standard for drums, bass and more bass. Working as Dillinja x Capone x Cybertron amongst other aliases this producer's sound is unapologetic, sonically awesome and instantly recognisable. We’ve decided to focus on our favourite time, so far, in his career, 1996 - 2001. This mix picks up tracks from this time across some of the biggest labels in the scene and includes a few game changing remixes for good measure. Back with another special mix from us! For this episode we are focusing on one of the foundation labels from the scene. True Playaz The home of Hype, Zinc and Pascal, back in 96’ this label was everywhere. You can hear its influence all the way through Drum and Bass / Jungle history, right up to today. We've included a fair amount of the classics here as well as some of the lesser spotted personal faves. Focusing on music between the years of 1996-2000 and produced by Hype, Zinc, Pascal and their many aliases, plus some well known producers from this time.
