What's up y'all the aunties are back with a Pt 2 in the Puff Daddy, J-Lo saga. Last week we touched on Diddy & this week we are finishing up with Ms. Lopez. Jennifer recently released a follow-up to her 2002, "This Is Me...Then" album, entitled "This Is Me...Now." Both projects were inspired by her romantic relationship with actor Ben Affleck. The new album was accompanied by a musical film "This Is Me...Now: A Love Story & a behind the scenes documentary entitled "The Greatest Love Story Never Told." Lopez believed so strongly in the project that she invested $20 million of her own money in the project and went on tour to support the productions. Unfortunalty, the album & the documentary flopped & she has been trending for all the wrong reasons. She even had to cancel several tour stops due to low ticket sales. J-Lo is no longer considered 'real' or relatable. Quite literally, "the Bronx hates J-Lo" & shared their frustration all over Beyonce's internet. She hasn't lived on the 'block' in over 30 years & only comes back to promote projects. Reports of her exploitation of the economically struggling area, along with her diva-like behavior & reputation for being a narcissistic mean-girl resulted in one brutal reality check. Well honey, the aunties are no different, we have a few things to say about this. If your fellow Puerto Ricans don't support you then you must have done something really wrong.
