Our guest for today is Jennifer Baffour-Awuah, General Manager of Anoah Mother Care, a renowned mother care in Accra Ghana. She talks about her life in Ghana before moving to the UK. With her life in the UK as a young person she connected with authors like Maya Angelou, Ama Atta Aidoo, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Alex Walker, Tony Morris among many who were afar. She found these female authors as a drive to get engaged in Women/Female rights activities. She later returned to Ghana working as Women's’ Right Coordinator for Action Aid. She was a lecturer at the New York University, Ghana.
She resigned from her work to handle her family business which is focused on children's clothing and still actively involved.
