It's time to talk about the greatest Dream Street movie you've never seen... The Biggest Fan from 2002, officially released in 2005.
In this episode, we briefly travel into the future to take a look at what was happening by the time this very dated movie was finally released! We dive head first into the history of Dream Street as a boy band and share fan stories from Ethan's best friend Taylor! (Our resident Dream Street historian and Chris Trousdale super fan).
As a change of pace, we opted for a more free-flowing discussion of this truly ridiculous movie that is essentially every "y/n" fan fic come to life! The conversation covers a few other tangentially related topics such as: the evolution of boy bands and state of pop culture post-Dream Street, Jesse McCartney, Brittany's few experiences with boy band fan fiction and the history of fan fiction in general. For the first time on this podcast, we also hear some thoughts on the movie from Jeannie Butler (Brittany's mom)!
