You are the 5 people closest to you is a chicken or the egg situation. I think who you are naturally gets manifested in the people around you. Once you change internally the people around you can’t help but change. One practical way I find to help shift oneself to be who they want to be is to audit who you follow on social media. Unfollow people who don’t help with your truth and follow those that do. We are so influenced by social media and especially when we are tired and scrolling mindlessly. Make sure in those comatose states, the minimal effort you exert is still helping you become who you want to be. And don’t be worried about people who may get triggered that you unfollowed them. Remember this is your life. You decide what is worthy. You are the captain of your own ship and unless you can own that you’ll never be able to have the life you know you deserve. So own it and choose wisely the people you let into your life.
