I talk about another anime: The Tatami Galaxy. It was a really life changing piece for me. Essentially it’s about a protagonist that is never satisfied with anything he has because he’s always aiming for an unrealistic vision of what he could have and therefore not appreciate anything he does have. Only to learn the lesson the hard way by getting trapped in a dimensional tesseract connected to the rooms of his parallel selves to reflect on how all his lives were so full of life if he only could stop and smell the flowers.
