16. Looking for Love + Facing an Unwanted Pregnancy — To Choosing Adoption + Finding Healing and Purpose | Gerrianne Gabler
Gerrianne Gabler shares her journey of redemption and hope. Her experience of sexual molestation and exposure to abusive relationships deeply shaped her self-esteem and worldview. She turned to promiscuity and unhealthy marriages in a desperate attempt to fill the void. Her acceptance of Jesus at 25 marked a turning point, leading to a path of healing and spiritual growth. Gerrianne’s ability to forgive herself and others was instrumental in her transformation. When faced with an unplanned pregnancy, she made the difficult decision to give her child up for adoption. She earned her degree in social work and used her experiences to help others in the field of adoption and foster care. Today, Gerrianne continues to serve as a board member with Texas Alliance for Life. Her story teaches us that we can find wholeness in Jesus and purpose in our struggles. I found it truly inspiring, and I pray you do too!
