At today’s Warfare Wednesday service, Pastor Femi Paul declared that worship is our weapon for warfare! In this brief but powerful exhortation titled “Devotion to God Through Worship & Service,” he taught that true devotion is more than religious activity; it is a heartfelt, consistent loyalty to God shown through reverence, obedience, and service. Drawing from Philippians 2:20–22 (MSG), PFP described Timothy as “the real thing - a devoted son” who genuinely cared for the things of Christ, not personal gain. Such devotion, he explained, is what God desires from every believer, a life that prioritises Him above all else. PFP highlighted that devotion is expressed through worship, prayer, and selfless service. It requires yielding one’s time, energy, and resources to God, not out of duty but out of love. From 1 Timothy 4:8, he reminded us that while physical discipline profits a little, devotion to God pays eternal dividends, bringing blessings in this life and the next. As Isaiah 58:14 (TLB) affirms, those who delight in the Lord will “ride high” and enjoy their full share of covenant blessings. PFP concluded by urging the church to strengthen their devotion - make worship and service not just acts of faith, but weapons of victory that move the hand of God in every battle. Lord, I choose devotion over distraction. Teach me to serve You faithfully and worship You wholeheartedly. As I delight in You, let me rise higher, walk in victory, and enjoy the fullness of Your blessings. Amen.

Warfare Wednesday (September 2025)/Illegal Detainment/Pastor Femi Paul
At today’s Warfare Wednesday Service, Pastor Femi Paul delivered a powerful message titled “Illegal Detainment.” He explained that illegal detainment represents any force or situation designed to restrain progress, hold people back, or keep destinies shackled. In contrast, God’s plan is release, freedom, and forward movement. Drawing from Genesis 27:40, he showed that breaking free requires restlessness, a decision to fight, and determination to refuse the yoke of delay or oppression. Pastor Femi then led the church in warfare prayers, declaring that seasons of waiting, struggling, and stagnation have expired. From Genesis 24:56, he proclaimed that nothing will hinder, delay, or detain God’s people from entering into a new season of prosperity, success, and celebration. This was a timely reminder that in Christ, we have the power to break free and walk boldly into God’s promises.
