I Lost My Hair, I Lost Myself, and I Had to Heal Alone
I started losing my hair in 1999. I was 21 years old. I’m 47 now. That’s over two decades of living with hair loss, adapting, breaking down at times, and continuing on when no answers existed, and in the absence of validation and understanding.
This episode isn’t polished. It’s not a tutorial. It’s a reflection on identity, silence, and what it means to keep showing up when your body no longer feels like yours… when the mirror feels like betrayal.
Your feelings are real.
Your feelings are valid.
You’re not vain.
And you’re not alone.
🖤 Thank you for listening.
