Yael is a financial strategist, speaker, advisor, and mentor with over a decade of experience. She is a regional co-chair at FIBREE, the Foundation for International Blockchain and Real Estate Expertise. She is currently a CMO and Partner at SolidBlock, a new fundraising vehicle, offering a compliant global platform for the issuance and trade of digital securities backed by real estate & other assets.
In our talk we discussed the tokenization processes with an emphasis on real estate tokenization. We spoke about the main advantages that tokenization can bring. Yael shared the step by step process of tokenizing a real estate asset, highlighted the key challenges associated with it, and gave examples of how they overcome those challenges at SolidBlock.
Towards the end, we touched on education in Blockchain, where Yael shared her view on what education should be focusing on and why we don't need to understand exactly how Blockchain works in order to enjoy the benefits of this technology. Finally, we reflected on the changes that Covid-19 posed on our societies, and as for the future of tokenization, Yael predicted that: “in the next 2 years the world will figure out how to provide liquidity”.
