Docendi Sunt Christiani. The Wittenberg Hour explores topics related to classical Lutheran education from a Lutheran worldview.
Rev. Anthony Dodgers joins us to celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week and discuss reflecting God's image when we create using words.
______________
We were created in the image of a Creator, and so we are meant to reflect His image, to mimic Him and join in His work of creation. This is what J.R.R. Tolkien called "sub-creation," especially when we create using words- when we tell stories. But what's the difference between fantasy and falsehood? Can stories be deceptive? What makes a story bad? What makes good stories endure? We were created through Christ and for Christ, so we want all our sub-creations to reflect Him and the story He has written for us. ~Rev. Anthony Dodgers
