In this episode Joy and Laura break down season 4 episode 10 of Supernatural “Heaven and Hell”. Dean, Sam, and Ruby try to protect Anna, a woman who can hear angels’ voices, from the angels who want to kill her, and a powerful demon, Alistair, who wants to t*rture her for information. This results in a showdown between the two sides.
We discuss how the dynamic between Dean and Ruby has changed as he’s very protective and trusting of her in this episode; the relationship between Dean and Anna; why Uriel is such a creepy creeper; and we ponder if the Destiel vibes started this early in the series.
We also discuss the comparison between Anna’s grace being pure creation where it fell to Earth, and the contrast between this and the destruction caused by Dean being pulled out of Hell.
Joy’s Easter eggs are about real documented and investigated miracles, including people being cured of illnesses after praying to certain Saints.
