In this episode, Rosa and Daniela chat to Pieter Mostert about his proposal that we 'chuck the facilitator'. We discuss the role of the facilitator, and explore different ways of thinking about the place of the facilitator in a philosophical dialogue. This conversation was inspired by a series of workshops hosted by The Wisdom Collective, exploring the relationships and similarities between Bohm dialogues and philosophical approaches, and what, if anything, they can learn from each other. Some of those conversations will be published in due course.

A lot of the techniques we discuss are taught by The Philosophy Foundation - please visit http://philosophy-foundation.org to find out more about the excellent training they offer.
The Wisdom Collective is an educational non-profit that helps anyone develop philosophical skills of inquiry through dialogue and creative activities. Our podcasts are playgrounds of thought and ideas. They are largely unstructured around key themes, and we use philosophical questioning to guide dialogue, making connections and asking questions to go deeper and gain new insights.
