Will Rees – Ableton Live 12 Trance Template (138 BPM | Uplifting / High Energy) Buy here - https://payhip.com/b/SkP1Q This is a full uplifting trance template I’ve built in Ableton Live 12 Suite, using only stock plugins — no third-party VSTs. The track sits at 138 BPM and captures that high-energy, peak-time sound I’m known for — driving basslines, euphoric leads, tight percussion, and spacious atmospheres. It’s fully arranged and mixed, with a complete mastering chain included so you can hear it at full power straight out of the box. I’ve made heavy use of Ableton’s built-in synths like: Wavetable – for the main lead, pads, and textures Operator – for bass and supporting synth layers Analog, Sampler, and Drum Rack – all dialled in to give you that polished trance sound Mastering Chain (All Stock Plugins): EQ Eight – for shaping and cleaning the mix Glue Compressor – for tight dynamics Saturator – to add a bit of edge and colour Limiter – for loudness control Perfect for: Learning how to structure and arrange a full trance track Understanding how to mix and master using only stock tools Sparking new ideas or building your own track from a pro-level foundation While weekly releases of third-party plugins can be very useful, over my years of teaching, I’ve found that as we chase the next best thing, truly understanding how stock plugins work—and using them to their full potential—can be just as effective. This solid foundation becomes especially valuable when you later work with third-party plugins. Everything is labelled clearly, and I’ve kept the session clean so you can follow along easily. Whether you're just starting out or want to dive into how I work inside Ableton, this should give you loads of insight. Also, you’ll also find the fully mastered WAV in the folder—feel free to include it in your sets! This project is intended for educational purposes only. Commercial release or distribution of this track is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized will result in legal action.
