This episode features Brussels based artist Max Pinckers. A researcher and lecturer at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Pinckers has created many publications and recently won the 2018 Leica Oskar Burnack Award. Max talks on his approach to photo documentary practice, his project Red Ink set in North Korea, self publishing and the way in which he uses visual strategies to represent his subjects.
The episode was recorded at Polycopies book fair in November of 2018 during the Paris Photo weekend.
