An Out of Body Experience, or OBE, is defined as "a multisensory experience whereby a person separates from their physical body, and experiences the world from a disembodied state."

Much as modern science dismisses and disregards OBEs, thousands of people around the world, and throughout history, report having these experiences- and in some cases, can even induce them at will.
