Episode 14: How the Enemy Tries to Erode Confidence in God

We need to know this, that we have a literal, active, merciless, and subtle enemy. Where to put the emphasis? Let us focus on “subtle” for now. His agenda is to destroy you, to crush your soul, to deplete your trust and hope, and to convince you that you are failing, God has abandoned you, and everyone around you is against you; and get this, he will work very hard to convince you that it is all your fault!

This seems to be one of the great assaults of Satan in this age, to erode the confidence of God’s people. The more devout you are, the more you desire to know God, love God, and obey God, it seems the stronger this attack is. But mark this down, Satan is the liar, deceiver and accuser of the brethren. His narrative is false. But it does not mean it is not powerful.

We need to recognize it and know how to deal with it when it comes!
