Zulu is a 1964 war movie staring Stanley Baker and Micheal Caine. The film deplicts the Battle of Rourke's Drift, an 1879 last-stand battle in south Africa during the Anglo-Zulu War. One of my favourite war films, this one was considered controvercial due to its portrail of the Zulu Kingdom. Add into that it's release druing the Cold War and Zulu is not controversial but very cultrually significant as well.
