Episode 59: The International Women's Day Celebrations at Tabora (March 8, 2020)
In this episode of The Voice of Hope - Tabora, Catholic evangelist Emmanuel Peter Kahama shares the international Women's Day Celebrations at Tabora. The world commemorates the International Women's day every day on this date of March 8. Women are gathering world wide to remind the world about the necessity of having a just society. Today we remember our beloved mothers and all women. The message of the Guest of Honour, who is the Deputy General Secretary of Tanzania's Women's Union (UWT in Swahili to mean Umoja wa Wanawake Tanzania) advocate Jessica M., has said,

"Women now you have to wake up and understand that WITHOUT MEN'S SUPPORT WE CAN'T REACH ANYWHERE AND THAT WILL INCREASE CHAOS AND PROBLEMS IN FAMILY, WE NEED EACH OTHER. Let's go love ourselves (we as women) and remember we have the role to take care of our children, we are the mothers and without our Care our Children will be abused everyday and later destroy our Nation. As we fight for equality, let's move wisely and keep respecting our Husbands. Men, also love and support your wives that they should now act behind you. Umoja ni Nguvu!"
