Reconnecting with old friends during travels requires a special kind of courage. When we travel, we often find ourselves in reflective states, away from our everyday routines, which can inspire us to revisit the connections that have shaped our past. Life has a way of making us drift apart from those we once held dear. Busy schedules, new responsibilities, and changing circumstances can all contribute to the widening gap between us and our old friends. Yet, there is something profoundly healing about revisiting these relationships. It’s a chance to acknowledge the passage of time, to appreciate the growth on both sides, and to reconnect on a deeper level.
