”Inspired by her (late) grandfather, who emphasized the importance of having a vision, King placed the wisdom on a shelf for about ten years while serving as former state representative and activist but knew that one day it would have a special purpose.“It is all in God’s timing when things are released, and the time to inspire others with their vision, is now,” said Day Gardner.

We hope the television show will inspire them to catch the vision God has for their lives.”

Message From the Pulpit Today with Special Guest Pastor Brandy Gibson
From Executive Producers/Hosts: Dr. Alveda King, Destiny Yarbrough and Day Gardner

The episode of The Vision TV Show, hosted by Destiny Yarbrough, Day Gardner, and co-host Pastor Tracey Armstrong (with absent hosts Dr. Alveda King in DC, Katie Holmes at a beauty pageant, and Ginger Howard traveling in Europe), begins with warm greetings and updates. The hosts celebrate winning Best TV Show at the 2025 International Christian Film & Music Festival (ICFF), giving glory to God. Day shares her summer joys: family time, health, building a she-shed (a personal sanctuary with amenities like a fireplace), and gardening, which draws her closer to God. Destiny Yarbrough discusses her bittersweet empty-nester phase as her son moves out today, finding solace in work and prayer, while reflecting on successfully raising him to independence. Pastor Armstrong updates on post-NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) progress, including developing the Destiny Channel, helping content creators from the convention's pitch-a-thon bring projects to life, and family well-being amid kingdom-building efforts.

A video clip on reformers inspires, with prophetic words about God building His church, planting believers strategically, and ushering in harvest time through firebrands, evangelists, missionaries, and media influencers. Destiny recounts her recent delegate trip to Israel, meeting families affected by the October 7, 2023, attacks—those who lost loved ones and those with hostages still held—urging viewers not to fear visiting, as the nation needs prayers, support, and tourism amid economic hardships like empty airports and sold Ubers. She emphasizes standing with Israel, highlighting the resilience of places like Kibbutz Be'eri and the Nova Festival site, now memorialized, and calls for ongoing intercession against antisemitism and for hostage release.

Guest Pastor Brandy Gibson, a multifaceted leader—pastor of World of Life International Ministries (with branches in Atlanta, Birmingham, and Tanzania), author of The Authority of the Believer, filmmaker, and marketplace minister—joins to share her journey. Starting ministry at 19 after a divine encounter, she has traveled to over 20 nations, founded a Bible college in Tanzania, and authored books like The Authority of the Believer and The Real You, focusing on spiritual authority and identity in Christ. Her film work began with historical documentaries on Detroit's Black Bottom and Harmony Village, evolving into collaboration with her husband's Dunamis Films TV. Brandy stresses walking worthy of one's vocation (Ephesians 4:1), prioritizing the spiritual over the physical as in Genesis 1:26-28 and 2:7, and following the Holy Spirit amid rebuttals.

The conversation shifts to women's empowerment through She Leads America, which all three women (excluding Pastor Tracey) are part of, describing it as a unifying movement equipping influencers without ego or division. A clip from the She Shines Retreat features worship songs like "My Life Is in Your Hands" and "Jireh," evoking themes of surrender, provision, and identity in God's love. Brandy highlights women's role as household influencers and hearts, akin to the neck turning the head, and praises the group's supportive prayer dynamic and organic expansion, like a recent tea in Birmingham opening doors to Honduras. They note interconnectedness with Christian Women in Media and Destiny Channel, fostering kingdom unity.

Brandy addresses bridging sacred and secular, rejecting church confinement and advocating marketplace ministry like Paul's outreach to Gentiles, despite resistance from figures like Peter. She encourages spirit-led boldness, manifesting faith without status quo limitations. The episode closes affirming God's vision over worldly views, urging viewers to seek and follow it through prayer.
