Are We in the End Times? with Jon and Jolene Hammil
In this enlightening episode of The Vision TV Show, hosts Destiny Yarbrough, Dr. Alveda King, Dr. Day Gardner, and Katie Holmes welcome Jon and Jolene Hamill—authors, prophetic leaders, and founders of Lamplighter Ministries. The episode focuses on understanding the “end times” from both a biblical and spiritual perspective, exploring how global and national events may align with prophetic scripture. The Hamills share insights from their book, "End Times in Real Time", which aims to equip believers with discernment and spiritual preparation for the days ahead.

Jon and Jolene describe their ministry work in Washington, D.C., where they regularly pray with and minister to government leaders. Their message emphasizes that many in leadership positions are increasingly convinced that we are living in biblically significant times—not merely due to theological teaching, but because of real-world crises of biblical proportions. Jolene recounts a vision she had while in Israel, seeing a prophetic clock over Tel Megiddo (Armageddon) showing “10 minutes to midnight.” This vision, received in December 2022, preceded the October 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel by nearly ten months, reinforcing their belief that God provides real-time revelation.

A major theme discussed is the importance of aligning with God's timing—what the Hamills call “God’s holy clock.” The couple encourages believers not to fear end-times prophecy but to seek divine understanding, live boldly in their faith, and remain spiritually alert. They introduce the concept of “Turnaround Tuesday,” a prayer movement birthed from their personal journey to see prodigal sons and daughters return to faith. After a year of prayer beginning on Christmas 2014, their own son experienced a powerful encounter with Jesus on Christmas Day 2015, which became a turning point in his spiritual life.

The conversation also addresses the fear and confusion many believers associate with Revelation. Jolene shares how she had to unlearn fearful, inaccurate teachings about the end times in order to walk confidently in her prophetic calling. She encourages others to do the same—to let go of fear and embrace understanding and courage. The guests highlight the cyclical nature of biblical prophecy and emphasize the importance of recognizing and breaking destructive cycles while stewarding the opportunity for spiritual elevation.

AI, global instability, spiritual deception, and revival are also discussed in light of prophecy. The hosts and guests agree that while technological and societal changes may seem alarming, the foundation of God’s word remains unshakable. Katie Holmes shares her approach as a parent, reminding her teenage daughter to filter all things through scripture, because “everything else is just noise.” The Hamills affirm that the battle for truth and identity is at the heart of the current spiritual climate, and the body of Christ must prepare through wisdom, prayer, and obedience.

The show closes with powerful prayers by Jon and Jolene, asking for wisdom, a spirit of understanding, and courage to fulfill one’s calling during these significant times. A prophetic word is released regarding the 2025 U.S. presidential inauguration, which they believe will mark the beginning of a new spiritual era and acceleration into the end times. The Hamills speak of a rising generation of “end-time awakeners” and reformers who will ignite revival and disrupt the status quo—not just politically, but spiritually.

Throughout the episode, the message is clear: believers are not called to panic but to prepare. With spiritual insight, trust in God, and courageous faith, Christians can navigate the complexities of our times and walk in alignment with God's divine vision.
