Geographer Mylene Hazel De Guzman discusses the social and spatial dimensions of the pandemic along with the various dimensions of being “healthy” (2:25); inequalities and access to healthcare (11:19); social and physical distancing (13:25); and the intertwined aspects of human ecology, spaces/places and health (16:07). Economist JC Punongbayan tackles the economic dimensions of the crisis noting the macro and micro-economic impacts of the lockdown (21:52) and the economic stimulus package that the government intends to implement (27:17). JC and Hazel reflect on good practices so far and possible ways forward (33:00).

Para sa aspektong may kinalaman sa ugnayang panlipunan, binigyang-diin ni Mylene Hazel De Guzman ang ilang aspektong panlipunan kaugnay ng isang pandemya at ang kaakibat na mga usapin ng pakahulugan sa pagiging “malusog” (2:25). Tinalakay rin niya ang usapin ng access sa serbisyong medikal (11:19) at ilang pananaw kaugnay ng social/physical distancing (13:25). Mahalaga rin aniyang pagtuunan ang magkakakawing na elemento ng human ecology, espasyo/lugar, at kalusugan (16:07). Ibinahagi naman ni JC Punongbayan ang ilang bagay kaugnay ng ekonomiya at paano ito naapektuhan ng krisis sa antas na micro at macro (21:52). Ipinaliwanag rin niya ang stimulus package bilang isang tugon ng pamahalaan sa hamong pang-ekonomiya na dala ng isang krisis (27:17). Nagbahagi rin si JC at Hazel ng ilang pananaw kaugnay ng mga susunod hakbang na maaaring bigyang tuon (33:00).
