Do you know who Guy Fawkes is? Well. He was a primary player in the Gunpowder Treason Plot. He was, according to some accounts, caught with a match in hand, getting ready to set off a bomb and blow up England's Parliamentary Opening Ceremony back in 1605. Well. He was captured, tortured, and executed.
Do you Remember, Remember... 'The Movie V for Vendetta? Well the main character in that movie wore a Guy Fawkes mask and blew up the Old Baily (Like the American Supreme Court) to send a message to a tyrannical government.
Do you know Timothy McVeigh? For all of you younger folk, he was the guy who bombed the Alfred P. Murrah, Federal Building in Oklahoma back in 1996. He is "American Domestic Terrorist, Number One". But why did he do it?
Well what would we see if we compared Timothy McVeigh to Guy Fawkes? Well that's what we do in this episode.
