S2E4 - #OurSharedStories

This week’s episode features fellow development economist, Jabulile Mpanza. Jabu started out in management consulting and later pivoted into the health and insurance corporate space. She is the founder of Hadithi Wethu, a reading mentorship programme that aims to expose Black youth to African literature. In our conversation, Jabu talks about her dynamic process of learning what it is she wants to do in her career, and how being an avid reading has shaped her views on the importance of constantly evolving. She touches on the privilege of self-actualising in an ever-changing work landscape, the importance of having sponsors in the workplace, and more. I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. I hope you do too.
