British Royal Family: Do we really need the Monarchy?

In this episode David and I discuss the function and role that the  British Monarchy has in the UK and the rest of the world. While many  people love the British Royal Family, they don't really serve a true  function in politics or nation building. In addition, the cost of  keeping the Monarchy around may not be worth the value they give back.
