Dracula's America - wild west gothic horror skirmish gaming
Welcome to a look at the rules for Dracula's America Shadows of the West, a tabletop skirmish game set in a gothic alternate Old West where the supernatural is a very real part of life. The rules are modular, letting you decide how much 'weird' you want, from recreating classic gunfights with core mechanics to exploring Dracula's America with advanced and supernatural elements. Players command a Posse of six to ten models, navigating game turns split into phases like Draw, Action, NPC, and Recovery to perform actions such as Move, Shoot, and Fight. The outcome of actions often relies on Dice Tests using a model's Grit statistic, which also determines their rank (Novice, Veteran, or Hero). For extended play, the game features a robust Campaign system allowing you to follow your Posse's story, gaining experience, suffering injuries, and building legends.
