Hey everybody! Episode 173 of the show is out. In this episode, I spoke with Rael Inshan. Rael is an interesting guy who specializes in the amanita muscaria mushroom. I was really happy to have him on to speak about this sacred medicine as its not a topic I have covered much. We spoke about his difficult childhood and how that led him to South America to work with different indigenous medicine traditions. This eventually led him to discover the amanita muscaria mushroom in the woods near him and to begin working with it and to learn, firsthand, it’s benefits. He speaks about the wisdom it has taught him about it’s medicine on the individual level as well as the collective and a vision of a new earth that he feels the mushroom is guiding us towards. Todd and Lacey and I go quite far back where we met working together at the ayahuasca center the Temple of the Way of Light. They have started their own ayahuasca retreat called Intertwining Medicines where they work within the Shipibo lineage. It was a pleasure to sit down and catch up with them both. They have been involved in this medicine path for a long time and both hold a lot of wisdom and teachings. We spoke about their background, facilitation, healing, black magic and brujeria, and the evolution of this work. I have a lot of respect for both of them and think they have a lot to share.
