Today’s guest studied at King's College London, completed a computer science course at Harvard University and her company Babes on Waves has won a grant from the Clear Futures Initiative, been featured in the Guardian, Huffington Post, and BBC Politics. It goes without saying that she’s got an incredibly impressive CV.

But Jasmine has been very vocal about growing up with low self confidence, self esteem and internalised racism. Now in her mid-twenties, she’s the founder of Babes on Waves, the first diverse female founders club for next-gen Black & POC female founders, giving them tools to build confidence in themselves and their brand.

Through Babes on Waves she launched the BLOOM TOGETHER CAPSULE COLLECTION raising an amazing £500 for Sistah Space, for black female survivors of domestic abuse. More recently, she’s announced an incredible partnership and campaign with office shoes and converse london, AND hosted THE international women’s day event to remember, with tonnes of guest speakers incl. singer Ray BLK amongst others.

Her ultimate mission is to create a world where all women can champion one another, and make their dreams a reality.

When asked what her career has taught her in life so far, she very thoughtfully answered  - “that everything is always working out for you, even if you can’t see it” which is the perfect sentiment for this podcast.
