Today’s guest is a trained professional chef, who just over three years ago, alongside his business partner Jules, decided to launch his own restaurant, called Utter Waffle. Having since been featured in @codehospitality ‘s 30 Under 30 List. His business, accompanied by his trusty little van Reggie, has travelled all over the country serving waffles to the nation, from Christmas at Kew Gardens, Warner Bros film sets, Wimbledon, Covent Garden and Chiswick House to name just a few locations.

However, like many independent businesses and restaurants, the last two years have not been without their challenges, with James being forced to pivot his business due to the effects of covid-19.

Now, in 2022, they are four-time British street food winners who have featured on Sunday Brunch and ITV News, proving those 14 hour working days to be worth it and the biz to be an utter success!!

In this episode we discuss where his love of cooking came from, chef influences, his favourite country for food whilst travelling around South America, his multiple kitchen nightmares, his experience on First Dates hotel and much much more!!
