My guests today began making candles as a lockdown hobby. Little did they know after a few short weeks they’d find themselves being inspired to turn that hobby into a fully developed business.

When they struggled to find high quality, conscious products online, they decided it was time to carve out their own space and make their own brand.

Enter: Flumi - an earth-conscious homeware brand; creating products that are good for the home, mind and planet.

And so it was that this small idea, very quickly turned into a thriving business. With over 15k followers on instagram, Flumi has been featured in Glamour, Popsugar, Stylist and HEAT magazine, they've hired 2 additional team members and just celebrated their first birthday.

They might be too modest to acknowledge this achievement but their success comes as no surprise to the rest of us.

Before becoming co-founders, Kitty studied textiles at uni, and was a senior merchandising assistant at ASOS for over 2 years before quitting earlier this year to focus on Flumi full time.

Verity worked at Gleam and in 4 short years went from coordinator to senior talent manager. Implementing successful six figure brand campaign and was invited to speak at the Women In Leadership Empower Conference in March 2020.

With both having such impressive credentials it’s no surprise they’re moving from strength to strength.
