Today’s guest is a marketing strategist who recently landed an exciting new role in the gaming industry. However, it wasn’t all plain sailing in her early twenties - Perla felt unsatisfied with her job, which, coupled with a break-up left her questioning herself and her purpose. In 2020 Perla was made redundant - a situation few people find themselves in so early on in their career. But she refused to be defined by this set back and instead harnessed her marketing expertise to create and co-host her amazing podcast called “Think Twice” analysing cultural insights based on speculation. If anything, the last few years have gifted her with the confidence to step outside her comfort zone and into more exciting roles.

We talk about how to manage redundancy early on in your career, what to look for in job roles and how/why to leave toxic environments whether that be in the workplace or relationships.
