We discuss Katie’s role in Tennessee Williams’ Suddenly Last Summer, where she played “Catharine Holly”, originally played by Elizabeth Taylor in the 1959 film. The play is one of Williams’ least performed, nevertheless packs a big punch. Katie and I discuss the messages behind the text, influence of Williams’ close relationship with his sister on his work and how to tackle a demanding role every night. 

As well as her work on the recent production of Othello at the National starring Giles Terera and our mutual love for Shakespeare!
