Today we welcome a new friend of the Podcast the TALENTED Chris Metzner professional Illustrator and Designer for the company FUNKO (the home of the wildly popular FUNKO POP VINYL FIGURES). Chris is responsible for many of the concepts for the anime funko pop figures but also created an art book reimagining Pokemon known as REIMAGIMON, and has released TWO original fan art books filled with some of the most dynamic and creative anime fan art available on the market! He also illustrated and wrote the free digital comic Sincerely Elise!! Join us as we talk about how the Dragonball Z fillers are kind of iconic, the ups and downs of art school, becoming a professional artist that draws anime, and how much we all miss conventions!!
