On the podcast today we speak with the Commonwealth cruiserweight boxing champion Chris Billam-Smith. Chris joins us to talk all things boxing, including his early memories, getting into boxing, fighting in the amateurs and turning pro. He reveals what it was like make his pro debut and then going onto fight next at Wembley Arean in front of an empty crowd because the doors didn't open in time... The cruiserweight reveals his thoughts on Viddal Riley's unorthodox attempted move into boxing and what he makes of the potential new weight class between cruiser and heavyweight. The Bournemouth based boxer also reveals what lockdown was like for him, fighting at fight camp and his plans for the future which include fighting on the Whyte Povetkin 2 undercard for the British title. One of those plans for the future is Chris's own podcast which is set to be released soon.
