Dot; whose real name is Marcus, telling us how things were for him growing up in Pasadena and how he found his creative spark early due to his family and hip hop culture which was a major influence in him knowing what he wanted to do with his life. We then go on to talk about how he started his creative journey as a rapper and producer, Which lead to creatively directing visuals for music videos later on in life. Dot explains that he played sports, basketball specifically, but he was never the typical high school student, because he didn't go to parties and hang out much with friends, because he was always either in the studio, his parents radio station or in his mother's garage doing creative things. He explains to us that how he got his name "M.Dot", was inspired by Jay-z's nickname "S.Dot Carter", but he put his own twist on the name "M. Dot" because the acronym stood for "Marcus Does Overtime'. Dot talks about how he was popular in school mainly because of being a creative and just a trendsetter, in the sense he would go to thrift stores and find pieces of clothing that he would cut up and/or sew onto peoples clothing or sneakers for extra money as a side hustle. We transition our conversation to how he later befriended 2 time NBA Champion and Los Angeles Laker, Jordan Farmar. Dot tells us how it was such a inspiration and wild experience being around Jordan and the Championship Lakers, as well as being apart of the Laker parade twice. Dot goes on to explain how that experience helped turn his hustle up and broaden his understanding of an extravagant lifestyle. A lifestyle in which he made his mind up that he wanted for himself, through his own talent, dedication, and hard work. Like usual, our listeners are definitely in for a treat, and like alway this is one you do not want to miss! So sit back and enjoy the crazy world of The Tune’d In Podcast. Yay! Yay!

On this episode we sit down with Detroit native, a HILARIOUS Comedian, Actor, Writer and Producer, Comedian CP. We start out conversation with CP, talking about how he got into the comedy game and where he started doing comedy. CP lets us know that he started in Detroit were he experienced a sort of "hazing" from other older comedians in Detroit, but was able to make a name for himself in the city due to his unique comedy style and his ability to think and construct jokes outside the norm of his peers around him. CP goes on to let us know that him being an only child really played a major impact on him honing his inner comedic voice, because he was always around older people at a young age and was always "in grown folks business". He then elaborates on the fact that because he was alone a lot it gave him the ability to think on a deeper level about the things he saw, and be able to embrace his creative side at a early age to the point he knew that he wanted to be in entertain at a young age. Our conversation gets interesting when our Co-host T-Reg asks Tun and CP who are their top five favorite and/or most influential comedians. We later discuss how certain comedians, like Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor and Tommy Davidson helped influenced his path in comedy. CP goes into detail about how the career path and the artistic body of work that Tommy Davidson had really gave him the idea for the different characters he would create in his own comedic artwork. We later talk about how he went viral in Detroit for his skits and funny characters and felt that he hit a ceiling, as far as he was concerned in the comedy game and was inclined to make his way out to Los Angeles. CP knew he was supposed to be in LA because due to him going viral in Detroit, he found himself as writer in writer rooms for Tv shows.
