Panama City is a different vibe from Panama City Beach that many of us are already familiar with, yet it is so easy to see how the two communities are woven together through common threads that exist in beachside and waterfront communities like those on Florida's panhandle.

Experience the city’s first (and only) waterfront hotel - Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina, an IHG Hotel is situated right along the Panama City Marina offering beautiful views of the bay! The hotel’s interior is welcoming and thoughtful, and my room was just perfect.

The downtown area is filled with bustling businesses, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Digging deeper I found so many nods to yesteryear and amazing stories…sweet memories kept alive thanks to visionaries who have given this city some spunky energy. It’s fun to see what happens when someone takes an idea a step further. That’s a kind of progress we need to see more of in today’s culture.
