The Traumedy Show
Rachel and Megan Wilford, Bleav
46 episodes
Cousins and life-long best friends Rachel and Megan Wilford do just about everything together… including blowing up their lives in their late-20s. Just one month away from her wedding day (the second wedding she planned to the same man, in fact), Rachel took a leap of faith and ended her 10-year relationship when she discovered her fiancé was a serial cheater who had been deceiving her for years. At the same time, Megan was quickly inching her way out of her seven-year marriage to a man she had been with since she was 16. But having the courage to start over was only just the beginning. In this podcast, the two women deep dive into their heartbreaks but purposefully use dark humor to guide them through, as they navigate entering the dating world for the very first time, healing their past wounds, learning how to better love themselves, exploring the world and relationships through a fresher and wiser lens, and more. They also interview interesting guests about their stories, offering a safe space for all to share, grieve, process, shed light on important topics and, most importantly, laugh along the way.

38. Washington Boyfriend, Cohabitation Station and a Cousin in Federal Prison
This episode of The Traumedy Show is jam packed with relationship updates. Megan announces her official relationship with Washington Boy and shares the details of his visit to meet her in person. Meanwhile, Rachel spills that Bullseye has officially moved in and gives some additional details on their relationship, her new job and everything in between. Later in the show, the hosts read a powerful and deeply personal Trauma Bonding submission from a listener who bravely shares her story of childhood sexual assault at the hands of a cousin. She reflects on how the trauma has shaped her life, from PTSD to anxiety and beyond. They hold space for her story, discuss the weight of survivorship and explore the long-term impacts of trauma. As always, they navigate these heavy topics with honesty, support and (where appropriate) a little humor to keep them grounded. Thanks for listening!
