We’ve chucked the news out the window to discuss the 30th anniversary of the Premier League. Instead, this week we’re going to take a trip down memory lane and create three distinct teams that match the first three decades of this era in English football…


Part 1 (00:42)

So, let’s start with 1992-2002. A lot of these titles were won by Manchester United, with Blackburn Rovers taking one in 1994/95, and Arsenal winning 1997/98 and 2001/02.


Part 2 (33:55)

Chelsea emerged in the next 10 years as title contenders, winning their first championship in 2004/05 and retaining in 2005/06. Man United continued to rack up winners’ medals, but it was the noisy neighbours Manchester City who rounded out this decade with the iconic Agueroooooooooo goal to seal their first Premier League win.


Part 3 (1:13:33)

The most recent decade has seen Man City maintain their place at the top, under Manuel Pellegrini and then Pep Guardiola. Chelsea and Liverpool have kept pace on and won three titles between them, too. However, Leicester City’s 2015/16 season is the one we all remember best…
