It’s not all joy. Are we merely going through the motions or truly experiencing the exhilarating roller coaster of life? People might think that joy is all joy but it’s not. Joy is everything; the sadness, pain and grief. And also the highs, happiness and thrills. It’s about recognizing the impermanence of everything around us and understanding that it’s okay. It’s about using our time in this world to do what truly makes us happy. It’s about sharing and connecting with others, living now before we’re dead and making the world a better place. It’s life at its most authentic.
We must ask ourselves; are we truly living or just going through the motions?
