The current lack of food assistance is affecting more than just human food. Families who are strapped for cash may also be struggling to feed their pets. Dane County Humane Society is holding a drive to help people keep their pets happy and healthy. You can get involved at giveshelter.org if you’re in the Madison area, but check your local humane society to see what you can do elsewhere around the state.  This afternoon, Todd asks us What’s Worse: turkey bacon or turkey sausage?
