If the federal government is still shut down at the end of this week, SNAP benefits will pause, leaving many Americans unable to afford food. On top of this, if congress doesn’t continue the Affordable Care Act subsidies, insurance premiums will vastly increase for Wisconsinites. Todd runs through some shocking numbers from Governor Evers that paint a dire picture of our state’s financial future.
