The Perron family were at their wits end when a demonologist and a medium named Ed and Lorraine Warren showed up on their doorstep in 1973. Believing them to be a gift from God, the Perrons opened their home and their hearts to the paranormal pair. What transpired over the next few months almost cost Carolyn Perron her life, and ended up turning an innocent woman into a boogeyman for millions of moviegoers.
