Ep. 36 - Libertarian vs Communist (Part 1)

A communist reached out to me looking for a productive conversation and I jumped at the opportunity. The world is increasingly divided as we retreat into our own echo chambers and regard those outside our tribe as enemies. This is an opportunity to see if there is a peaceful path forward with those that vehemently disagree with us.

Is a constructive dialogue or debate possible with someone you vehemently disagree with? What would that look like? Is there any value to it? What are the principles, best practices and necessary conditions to constructive dialogue? What are these people even thinking? What motivates and drives their thought process?

These are all the questions in my head as I embark on a multi-part series with a communist from California named Billy Bob.
