EP063 "In the Studio with Output's Analog Strings!"
Another studio session week!
Yes, I'm back in the studio - feels like I haven't left lol! I'm auditioning / sampling patches in Occular Sound's Analog Strings pack to get ready for some massive orchestral / DnD writing coming up. Need new patches / ideas to stimulate ideating and creativity, so I'm revisiting some tolls I haven't played around with in awhile and finding some real inspiration here!
I talk a bit about the process today, and how to find / use / articulate with each patch, knowing that you in essence have to "Learn" each patch as a new instrument based on how it was programmed and layered. Fun stuff - and it gets into the nitty gritty nuance of the creative process here.
(I may have mistakenly called this Ocular Sounds in the recording - it is in fact Output that put this and Analog Brass out, so apologies for the confusion). Output can be found here: https://output.com/products
