On this weeks episode we dance into the world of performing arts, theatre and television with sports rehabilitator Aisha James. Aisha takes us on a path a little different from our usual sports to discuss dance injuries and management, the pressure of working back stage at some of the UK's biggest shows and how this environment varies from your typical clinic or sporting environment!

Aisha also talks a bit about her own research, whilst answering all our key questions and highlighting some really important research into injury occurrence and return to dance, which leads to discussion over factors like drug and alcohol use in athletes and how this can impact our roles. The research is: Novosel, B., Sekulic, D., Peric, M., Kondric, M., & Zaletel, P. (2019). Injury occurrence and return to dance in professional ballet: prospective analysis of specific correlates. International journal of environmental research and public health, 16(5), 765.
