To be thoughtful means to become self-aware, and self-awareness is key to a better life and better relationships. When we’re clear inside, our outer lives follow. And to survive and thrive as gay men, we’re going to need some clarity. What are the ins and outs of love and loneliness, trust and trauma, self-esteem and self-sabotage, specific to the gay male experience? I’ve been running support groups and coaching gay men for over a decade, while healing my own wounds along the way, and there’s some things I’d like you to...give some thought. ~Your lifecoach, Roy Grant

The Power of Our Spoken Word

Words have great power in their ability to evoke meaning and emotion in those who hear them.  They can motivate and build us up, or frighten and break us down. They have the power to create lifelong wounds, as well as the power to heal them.

And perhaps most consequential of all, the spoken words we absorb can determine what we believe is possible for us, including whether or not we deserve to be loved.
