The Tape Library - Archive of the Paranormal & the Unexplained
SpectreVision Radio
106 episodes

They said it was just a story. A haunting someone imagined. A light in the sky with a rational explanation. Just a noise in the walls. A mistake, a hoax. But over the years these stories seem to persist. And not all of them seem to have easy answers. This is The Tape Library. A collection of the paranormal, the strange, and the unexplained. Each episode examines a different case. These are the stories that keep me awake at night wondering "what if...". Told through immersive documentary style narrative, firsthand accounts, and whatever evidence still lingers. First, we hear the story. Then, we try to understand it. You might not believe all of it. You’re not supposed to. But everywhere has a ghost story. And someone needs to keep the record.

The Disturbing True Story of the Snedeker Family Haunting
In 1986, the Snedeker family rented a house in Southington, Connecticut. They soon discovered the basement had once been a funeral home, and according to their accounts, the building still held something dark within its walls. Over the months that followed, the family reported terrifying encounters — shadowy figures, physical assaults, and an overwhelming sense of evil. Their story drew the attention of famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who declared the house to be plagued by demonic forces. The case became one of the most notorious American hauntings of the late 20th century, and later inspired the film The Haunting in Connecticut. But was it truly paranormal, or a case of stress, suggestion, and exaggeration? This is the chilling true story of the Snedeker Haunting. 🔔 Subscribe for more paranormal documentaries 👍 Like | 💬 Comment | 📢 Share with anyone who loves real ghost stories Support the channel with Patreon - www.patreon.com/thetapelibrary Do you have a supernatural story to share?
